Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has tested positive for novel coronavirus (Covid-19) thrice in a row and will spend further time in quarantine.

Whereas, rookie batsman Haider Ali and Test pacer Imran Khan have tested negative during their third Covid-19 test.

Left-arm spinner Kashif Bhatti is still awaiting his test result. However, he has been called to Lahore for further testing along with Haider and Imran.

The aforementioned trio will go undergo another Covid-19 test tomorrow. Bhatti will only be allowed to take the test after his report from the previous test returns negative.

In case the players test negative again, arrangements will be made for the trio to travel to England and join the Pakistan team.

Meanwhile, the 20-player Pakistan squad, which arrived in England on June 28, is currently training in Worcestershire during their 14-day isolation period. The side will move to Derbyshire on July 13.

According to the tentative schedule of the series, the first Test will be played on August 5 in Manchester. Pakistan will play the remaining two games in Southampton, starting on August 13 and 21 respectively.

Pakistan will also play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in Southampton on August 29, 31 and September 2.
