In the Champions T20 Cup, Lions defeated Panthers by 8 wickets in a dominating performance.  

The match took place today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Ground, where the Lions won the toss and opted to field first. Panthers posted a total of 123 runs in 19.2 overs.  

Danish Aziz was the standout batter for the Panthers, scoring 34 runs off 27 balls, which included 4 boundaries and 1 six. Opening batsmen Umar Siddique and Sharjeel Khan managed 26 and 5 runs respectively before being dismissed.  

Haider Ali contributed 26 runs, while Shadab Khan, Mubasir Khan, Amad Butt, Usama Mir, Mohammad Umar, and Mohammad Ibtisam all struggled, scoring 8, 1, 3, 7, 4, and 0 runs respectively.  

For the Lions, Shahid Aziz was the star with the ball, claiming 4 wickets and earning the Player of the Match award. Musa Khan and Khushdil Shah each took 2 wickets, while Awais Anwar picked up 1 wicket.  

In pursuit of the target, the Lions reached 124/2 in just 14.3 overs, winning the match by 8 wickets. Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq was the top scorer with 45 runs, while his opening partner Hassan Nawaz contributed 44 runs. Shahzaib and Awais Zafar remained unbeaten on 28 and 4 runs, respectively.  

For the Panthers, Mubasir Khan was the only bowler to claim a wicket, while Hassan Nawaz of the Lions was run out.
