PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi in Dubai for key ICC meetings, officials unaware of his trip

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is currently in Dubai, where he is attending crucial meetings at the International Cricket Council (ICC) headquarters. However, many PCB officials were reportedly unaware of his departure to Dubai.

Sources have confirmed that Naqvi arrived in Dubai and held one-on-one meetings with ICC authorities. On the other day, he met with ICC CEO Geoff Allardice and other senior officials, furthering Pakistan's position on the upcoming Champions Trophy.

Throughout the day, Naqvi strongly advocated for Pakistan's stance, presenting the country's legal position to the ICC. Sources suggest that he emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to hosting the 2025 Champions Trophy without compromising its rights.

Mohsin Naqvi will continue his visit in Dubai today, as he is set to join the ICC Champions Trophy meeting via video link. The ICC Board meeting, which will discuss key issues regarding the event, is scheduled to take place at 3 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
