The HBL PSL ( Pakistan Super League) will be held from February 17 to March 17,2024. The matches will take place in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan. 

The opening ceremony and some matches are proposed to be held in Lahore. The final will be played in Karachi. 

Sources have revealed that finalizing the schedule has been challenging due to doubleheaders. The decision was made before Ramadan, but the board faces difficulties as the stadium in Karachi doesn't fill up during a single match and they think that it will remain almost empty during doubleheaders. Further deliberation is ongoing regarding this matter. After reaching a definitive result, the schedule will be issued promptly. 

On the other hand, for the ninth edition's draft, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) increased the budget for franchises by 8 crores rupees. Each team could spend 35 crores rupees to buy players. This decision was made without considering the team owners' input on this matter.

Surprisingly, there was no action on the suggestion to make contracts with Pakistani players in rupees instead of dollars, and franchises also opposed raising objections to avoid players' dissatisfaction.
