Renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle and former England captain Nasser Hussain have picked Shaheen Shah Afridi's blistering spell against India as their best moment from the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

In a video released by the ICC, commentators picked their best moments from the recently-concluded tournament.

Shaheen bowled an emphatic spell in Pakistan's clash against arch-rivals India on October 24. He dismissed Rohit Sharma for a golden duck with a searing, swinging delivery and, in his next over, bowled the other opener, KL Rahul to set up Pakistan's 10-wicket win in Dubai.

In his last over, he removed India's captain Virat Kohli and finished with figures of 3/31. He was also awarded Player of the Match.

"My moment of the ICC T20 World Cup was opening spell Shaheen bowled to India's openers. I liked it as India have been vulnerable in the past to Mohammad Amir and lost wickets in a similar style," said Bhogle.

"It was the only time I see that much of swing that much and for that long," he added.

Hussain opined that the spell completely set the tone for Pakistan in the tournament and also for India.

"My favourite memory from this World Cup was Shaheen's spell upfront. All the pressure was on as there always is in that encounter," Hussain said.

"Full, straight and swinging into Rohit Sharma and in his second over, one of the form batsman in white-ball cricket in the world, KL Rahul, one of the great deliveries," he added.

On the other hand, former West Indies captain Daren Sammy's moment was Pakistan beating India for the first time in the history of World Cups.
