The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has got the Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four-leg in Karachi fully insured, as the board is expected to generate huge revenue from matches held on home soil.

The season four of the tournament is about to reach its conclusion on Sunday, March 17 and the board won't make a loss even if an unfortunate incident happens.

According to a report by Daily Express, the board has the tournament’s Pakistan-leg fully insured and even if an unfortunate incident took place, the board will receive the entire contracted amount.

Also if any match of the tournament in Karachi is abandoned or called off due to rain or any unpleasant circumstances, the board will be fully paid.

Not only that, but the board has also managed to get the insurance of all foreign players who came to Pakistan for the tournament.

On the other hand, the board officials are also happy to see fans turn up in huge numbers for matches.

The report suggests that the board has generated huge revenue from the gate-money, which will be added to the central pool and will be distributed among the franchises.

The board is also expecting a full house during the final at the National Stadium, as tickets were sold out in a matter of a few hours.
