Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has revealed his T20 World Cup team of the tournament, which includes three Pakistan players.

The legendary England batter picked Mohammad Rizwan as the opener for his side due to the latter’s consistency.

“[Rizwan was a] consistent run-scorer at the top of Pakistan’s line-up, who did brilliantly to battle back from illness and score 67 against Australia in the semi-final,” Pietersen told Betway.

Meanwhile, he placed tournament’s highest run-scorer, Babar Azam, at one-down position.

“Proved once more that he [Babar Azam] is among the most consistent and best T20 batters in the world,” he said.
