Former captain Shahid Afridi visited Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) National High Performance Center in Lahore on Tuesday for a training session.
Afridi has started his preparation for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is set to begin from January 27.
The HBL PSL 2022 will be the last tournament appearance for the 46-year-old as he has decided to call time on his domestic career as well.
Recalling his earlier days as a cricketer, Afridi termed his visit to the academy as "memorable".
"I am glad to be here at the NCA after a long time. This was nostalgic for me and these kinds of facilities should be all over Pakistan," said Afridi.
The Pakistan superstar jokingly added that he did not take permission beforehand to visit the facility.
"I had my training session without permission. Hope that’s ok?," he wrote on Twitter.
