The Pakistan Shaheens are set to commence their training camp on Friday at the Hanif Muhammad High-Performance Center located within the National Bank Stadium, as they prepare for the ACC Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. The camp will continue until October 15, leading to the selection of a 15-member squad under the captaincy of Mohammad Haris, who will depart for Oman on October 16.
In the tournament, the Shaheens will face India A in their opening match on October 19, followed by clashes against the host nation Oman on October 21 and the UAE on October 23.
Additionally, seven players—Abdul Samad, Ifrat Munhas, Mehran Mumtaz, Muhammad Abbas Afridi, Umair Bin Yousaf, Qasim Akram, and Shaheen Shah Afridi—are expected to join the training camp on October 13 after their participation in the fifth round of the President's One Day Cup.
On the final day of the camp, the Pakistan Shaheens will hold a T20 practice match at Oval Ground. Captain Mohammad Haris is also scheduled to address the media to discuss the team's preparation and goals for the upcoming tournament. The ACC Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup will take place from October 18 to 22.
