Afghanistan cricketers confirm participation in Pakistan-hosted 2025 Champions Trophy

Afghanistan cricket team members Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Nabi have confirmed their willingness to play in Pakistan, firmly denying the baseless rumors of the Afghan team boycotting the event.

With the Champions Trophy 2025 set to be hosted in Pakistan, there were many speculations about the possibility of the Afghanistan team boycotting the tournament. However, the players have dismissed these rumors and confirmed the team's availability.

Both players, currently competing in the Global T20 in Canada, emphasized their eagerness to participate in matches hosted by Pakistan.

Mohammad Nabi urged fans to disregard the false reports circulating on social media, asserting that such rumors lack any substance. Rahmanullah Gurbaz echoed these sentiments, expressing his appreciation for the overwhelming support he received from Pakistani fans. 

They also highlighted his positive experiences in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and his enthusiasm for playing in Pakistan again.
