Multan Sultans' owner, Ali Tareen, extended an offer to fast bowler Ihsanullah on Wednesday, following a direct conversation with him.
Ihsanullah is set to represent Multan Sultans’ departmental team in this season’s President Cup Grade 2 tournament. The pacer will play for JDW during April and May in the President Cup Grade 2, utilizing Multan Sultans’ facilities to regain full fitness and form.
Speaking on the matter, Ali Tareen expressed his commitment to helping Ihsanullah return to peak performance, stating, "Multan Sultans will collaborate with Ihsanullah to ensure his comeback to the PSL next year."
Under the supervision of Multan Sultans’ fast bowling coach, Catherine Dalton, Ihsanullah will undergo training at the Lodhran-based Multan Sultans Academy.
Ali Tareen added, “Ihsanullah is an asset for both us and the nation. We are committed to providing every possible support to restore his fitness and form.”
He further emphasized that talents like Ihsanullah are rare, stating, “Fast bowlers of Ihsanullah’s caliber are born once in a generation. They require protection, and Multan Sultans are determined to nurture world-class talent and assist PCB in its development.”
Commenting on the support, Ihsanullah said, “Multan Sultans have always stood by me, and I am immensely grateful for their continuous support.”
