The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 marks its return after an eight-year break and will be held in Pakistan, starting on February 19. As both the host nation and defending champions, Pakistan will aim to retain their title while competing against seven of the world's top teams.  
The tournament begins with eight teams divided into two groups. Each team will play three matches in the group stage, with the top two from each group moving on to the semi-finals.  

Group A consists of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B includes Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan. The opening match will feature Pakistan taking on New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.
