Classics, thrillers, high-stakes, down-the-wire games, and whatnot - Star Sports released an almost Royal Rumble's intensity promo for Asia Cup 2023 scheduled to start from August 30 in Pakistan.

The 45-second promo features Asian giants, including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The video comprises a stunning compilation of energetic visuals from past Asia Cup tournaments.

The promo has received mixed, mostly happy reactions from the audiences as it features their favorite players.

Earlier, when International Cricket Council (ICC) released the official promo for the ODI World Cup 2023, featuring Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, it wasn't well perceived by the fans, especially Pakistan's audience. The reason was the absence of Pakistan captain Babar Azam and lesser screen time for team Pakistan altogether.

Asia Cup will kick off on August 30, with Pakistan taking on Nepal in the opening match in Multan. This year's Asia Cup will be played in the 50-overs format, featuring 13 matches. In Group A, Pakistan will lock horns with arch-rivals India and Nepal, while Group B will have Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
