Australia have defeated United Arab Emirates by seven wickets in the one-off T20I match in Abu Dhabi.
Visitors chased down a modest 118-run target with seven wickets and 23 balls remaining.
Debutant Ben McDermott scored the winning runs while D'Arcy Short finished unbeaten on 68 from 53 balls.
Earlier UAE won the toss and decided to bat first but a meek show with the bat meant that they could only post 117-6 in their allotted 20 overs. Shaiman Anwar top-scored with 41 runs off 44 balls.
For Australia Nathan Coulter-Nile and Billy Stanlake claimed two wickets each.
