WATCH: Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi engage in snooker battle amid captaincy chaos

The Pakistani cricketers are currently engaged in a fitness camp at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT), where they are undergoing various training routines and gym exercises. The camp, attended by 29 players, commenced on March 26 and is set to conclude on April 8.

In between training sessions, players also found time to engage in some recreational activities, such as playing snooker.

All-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed shared a video on social media capturing a light-hearted moment during one of these snooker games.

Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi were engaged in a game of snooker, with other players like Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir watching them play in a cheerful mood.

"Thoroughly enjoying our time together in Kakul camp. Remember us in your duas," Iftikhar wrote.

It is worth noting that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing to reinstate Babar Azam as captain ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

The PCB wants Babar to replace Shaheen Afridi as captain for the upcoming mega-event tournament. However, Babar is inclined towards a more long-term commitment as captain. He has communicated to the Pakistan Cricket Board his wish to lead across all formats if he were to consider captaining the T20I team.
