Meanwhile, the wedding of Islamabad United captain and all-rounder Shadab Khan impacted the cricket schedule as the first practice sessions of Quetta Gladiators, and Islamabad United were canceled. Most of the Islamabad players were unable to make it to Karachi as they were busy attending their teammate's wedding ceremony in Islamabad.

Shadab's wedding, which is set to take place on Friday, has attracted a number of famous cricketers, including Babar Azam and former Test captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who will be traveling to Islamabad for the celebration. The all-rounder, who hails from Mianwali, is married to British citizen Malaika, the daughter of former Test cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq.

In the past two months, three players of the Pakistan cricket team have tied the knot, including Haris Rauf, Shan Masood, and Shaheen Shah Afridi. Shadab expressed his gratitude to his fans for respecting his private life through social media.

It is worth mentioning that the teams were originally scheduled to reach the National Stadium for the practice session at one o'clock, but the sessions were ultimately canceled.
