Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will meet each other in their last round match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four on Monday at National Stadium Karachi.
Karachi Kings’ one-run victory over Quetta Gladiators ended the Qalandars’ journey in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Sultans, who were eliminated from the tournament before even the start of Pakistan-leg, will look to play for their pride and finish the tournament on a high.
The two teams had a great match earlier in the tournament, with Qalandars coming on top thanks to half-century by AB de Villiers and David Wiese’s cameo.
So fans are expecting another thrilling contest between the two sides.
Players to watch out for
Despite the fact that Fakhar Zaman is not in the best of form in the tournament but the left-handed batsman is a serious threat to any opposition. The Qalandars captain had a great outing against the Sultans earlier in the tournament, scoring 63 runs in Sharjah. So he will be aiming to repeat his performance.
Meanwhile, the Sultans will be enjoying the services of their captain Shoaib Malik, who is in red-hot form with the bat, averaging over 44 in this edition.
Conditions
The pitch in Karachi is conducive for batting so far and it is reasonable to expect a high-scoring affair. Both previous matches of Pakistan leg also ended with high totals on the board.
