British doctor provides important update on Saim Ayub's ankle injury

Pakistan batter Saim Ayub, who suffered an ankle injury during the second Test against South Africa, has shown significant improvement. According to Dr. David Redfern in London, Saim's ankle is healing well, and he is now able to bear weight on his leg.

Dr. Redfern stated that the test reports will be sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) medical panel for further evaluation.

Saim Ayub, accompanied by assistant coach Azhar Mahmood, visited a London clinic yesterday for a second assessment of his ankle.

Azhar Mahmood expressed gratitude for the progress, saying, "Thank God, the situation has improved significantly. Whether surgery is needed and when it might happen will be determined by the medical panel. The examination report will be available soon."
