Former captain Salman Butt has opened up ahead of the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa in Karachi.
Butt was happy to see South Africa’s team tour Pakistan while also sharing his recipe for success.
“They [South Africa] are one of the top sides, especially in this [Test] format. So it’s a great learning curve for our youngsters and the public who wants to see their stars,” Butt said while speaking on PCB’s official YouTube channel.
“Take no pressure, be yourself, be positive, work hard, do the basics right and leave the rest to Allah [Almighty],” he added.

He also reiterated that cricket is something which binds the nation together.
“We all welcome them and thankfully we have cricket back in Pakistan. Remember it’s a cricket-loving nation and this is something that binds this whole nation together. So it’s very heartening to have them here,” he said.
First of the two-match series will begin on January 26 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
