Cricket committee expected to chair first meeting in December

The first meeting of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s newly formed cricket committee is expected to take place in Karachi during the second week of December.

According to Daily Express, the cricket committee — featuring former Pakistan Head Coach Mohsin Hasan Khan, former captains Waism Akram, Misbahul Haq and former Women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz — failed to conduct a meeting due to various issues.

However, now the meeting has been finalised in the second week of December and all participants including PCB chairman Ehsan Mani were verbally informed about it.

The official announcement will be made once all the participants confirm their availability, the report further suggested.

During the meeting, Mudassir Nazar and Haroon Rashid are expected to give briefing to the committee regarding matters of domestic cricket while Director Zakir Khan will share details about international cricket.

They committee is also expected to review performance of Pakistan cricket team during Australia and New Zealand series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
