Cricket fraternity praises Pakistan for reaching semi-finals of T20 World Cup

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in the all-important game by five wickets at the Adelaide Oval to secure their place in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan's hope was regained as the Netherlands defeated South Africa by 13 runs early this morning, giving Pakistan one final hope to qualify for the semi-finals, and they did it by defeating the Bengal tigers.

Though Pakistan lost their opening two games against arch-rivals India and Zimbabwe, they have overcome and did the unthinkable of now being the favorites to reach the finals of the T20 World Cup.

Shaheen Afridi (4-22) and Shadab Khan (2-30) did well with the bowl, restricting Bangladesh to 128 runs in their 20 overs. Najmul Hassan Shanto was the standout batter for Bangladesh, scoring 48-ball 52 runs, including seven boundaries.

Pakistan chased down the target with 11 deliveries remaining in their innings. Mohammad Haris again played a crucial knock as he scored 18-ball 31 runs, including one four and two massive sixes.

Cricket fraternity is pretty happy as Pakistan reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
