Pakistan successfully concluded a three-match ODI series against the West Indies and the PCB Chairman applauded the fans, team management, groundsmen, and all the security personnel for a seamless tour.
Speaking at post-series ceremony, Ramiz Raja remained especially thankful for the fans who turned up despite the scorching heat of Multan.
"I would like to thank the fans for making their way to the stadium and supporting us despite the hot weather. It means the world to us," said PCB Chairman.
In addition to that, Ramiz also promised the Multan fans that PCB will try their utmost best to not only host the Pakistan-England upcoming series in Multan but also shift some of the PSL matches here.
"You [Multan crowd] have proven that Multan deserves much more cricket and we will try our best to force Pakistan-England matches in Multan and also shift PSL matches here as well," the chairman added.
The PCB Chairman thanked both teams for participating to the best of their abilities despite the challenging weather.
"I would like to thank West Indies and Pakistan cricket teams for being able to maintain great intensity despite the hot weather. They had the guts to gut it out," he said.
Ramiz Raja further complimented Babar's performance and his team.
"Keep the unity and nothing in this world can stop you. Your team has potential, it has drive, and most importantly, it has the talent," Ramiz added.
