The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani is confident that, both, England and New Zealand will visit Pakistan as scheduled despite uncertainty surrounding the two tours in the past few days.

New Zealand and England are set to tour Pakistan after 18 and 16 years, respectively, in September and October. However, Taliban’s takeover in Afghanistan had cast a doubt over the series with some of the players from New Zealand also, reportedly, expressing concerns.

“Cricket is taking place [in Pakistan] and we have New Zealand coming in September followed by England in October. There are no problems in hosting matches in Pakistan,” Mani told Times of India.

Security officers from England and New Zealand will also visit Pakistan to assess the situation over the course of the weekend.

New Zealand are set to play three ODIs at Rawalpindi on September 17, 19 and 21. They will also take part in five T20Is at Lahore on September 25, 26 and 29, October 1 and 3.

Meanwhile, the England men’s side will visit Pakistan in October for two Twenty20 Internationals. Both matches will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on October 13 and 14.

Additionally, the England women will play three ODIs on October 17, 19 and 21 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
