England eye series win against Sri Lanka

England will face Sri Lanka in the fourth of the five-match ODI series in Pallekele on Saturday as they look to secure a series win over the Islanders.

The visitors beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the rain-hit third ODI in Kandy to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the five-match series on Wednesday.

Earlier in the second ODI, England were awarded victory on a faster run rate Saturday after play was halted by heavy rain while only 15 overs of the first ODI between the two sides was possible before the game had to be abandoned without a result.

England will also play two Tests and a Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka on the tour, which runs through November 27.
