England holds upper hand as both teams gear up for final Test in Rawalpindi

The third and final Test match between Pakistan and England is set to take place from October 24 in Rawalpindi. Both teams will depart from Multan to Rawalpindi tonight.

According to sources, plans have been made for the England and Pakistan players to leave on a chartered flight at 8 PM.

Openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley shared a partnership of 223 runs, with Duckett scoring 107 runs and Crawley contributing 122 runs. Ollie Pope added 108 runs, while Harry Brook scored 106 runs, further solidifying England's position.

For Pakistan, Zahid Mahmood took four wickets, Naseem Shah claimed three, Mohammad Ali grabbed two, and Haris Rauf took one wicket. In response, Babar Azam's team managed to score 598 runs, with Abdullah Shafique (114), Imam-ul-Haq (121), and Babar Azam (136) being the standout performers. Will Jacks took six wickets for England.

In their second innings, England declared at 264 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Chasing a target of 343 runs, the Pakistani team could only muster 268 runs. Saud Shakeel scored 76, while Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan contributed 48 and 46 runs, respectively.

This time, the pitch is being prepared differently in hopes of keeping the English team in check.
