English Cricketer Jordan Cox set to join Qalandars squad on Feb 23

The media manager for the Lahore Qalandars franchise announced that the English cricketer Jordan Cox will join their squad on February 23.

This comes after the Qalandars secured a 63-run victory against the Quetta Gladiators in the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.

Cox, who is a wicket-keeper batter, was previously playing for the England Lions in a series against Sri Lanka A, which concluded with the third and final ODI on the same day.

Meanwhile, Qalandars bid farewell to their West Indian cricketer Shai Hope, who played his last match for the team and has now been named the new ODI captain of the West Indies.

Hope had contributed 47 runs in Qalandars' victory against the Gladiators and expressed his enjoyment of playing in the PSL in his farewell press conference.

"I really enjoyed my time here. It is a fantastic tournament, and I had a great time at Qalandars' camp. I hope to join them back soon," he said.

On the other hand, English wicket-keeper batter Sam Billings will be joining the Qalandars on February 25 in Lahore.
