Sources close to Pakistan's opening batter Fakhar Zaman have denied claims that he has changed his player agent. 

This comes after a tweet from his older brother's account on X (formerly Twitter) suggested that Fakhar had parted ways with his agent. 

On Tuesday morning, a post was shared from Gohar Zaman's account, stating that Fakhar was no longer part of the agency. The message confirmed the separation, claiming, "As an elder brother, I confirm that Fakhar Zaman will not be part of SAYA Corps from today."

However, following this statement, close sources to Fakhar clarified that he has not changed his player agent, and the tweet has since been deleted. Reports suggest that the tweet may have caused confusion, leading to speculation that the agent did not choose the right timing for the announcement.

Recently, Fakhar was not awarded a central contract and was also excluded from the white-ball team for the upcoming series. Prior to the tweet, there was talk of him being considered for captaincy.

Now, Fakhar's close associates are asserting that he remains with his current player agent, and Gohar Zaman's tweet about the separation has been removed. Previously, there were rumors about Shaheen Afridi also changing his player agent, but those have yet to be confirmed.
