India’s former cricketer Wasim Jaffer, in a tweet on Friday, revealed his all-time One-Day International (ODI) XI which included two former Pakistan players.
Wasim Jaffer played 31 Tests and two ODIs for India. He featured in the national side as a right-handed top-order batsman and has a highest score of 212 runs in Test match cricket.

The 42-year-old chose the greatest batsman India has ever produced Sachin Tendulkar along with the ‘Hitman’ batsman Rohit Sharma to open the innings for his all-time ODI XI.
The former cricketer went on to choose the hard-hitting trio of India’s skipper Virat Kohli, West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards and South Africa’s former skipper AB de Villiers to set up a dynamic and explosive middle-order.
Jaffer picked England’s World Cup hero Ben Stokes as the all-rounder for his all-time ODI XI while India’s legendary former skipper MS Dhoni was included as the wicketkeeper and captain of the side.
The former cricketer picked Pakistan’s Wasim Akram, Australia’s Glenn McGrath and West Indies’ Joel Garner to create an imposing fast-bowling unit while Australia’s Shane Warne or Pakistan’s Saqlain Mushtaq could be picked as the spinners for the side.
Australia’s legendary former skipper Ricky Ponting was included as the 12th man in the side.
