Fourteen Pakistan players picked in BPL 2025 draft

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) player draft took place on Monday 14th October at a luxurious five-star hotel in Dhaka, marking a significant step in finalizing the teams for the upcoming season. Durbar Rajshahi had the honor of making the first pick, selecting fast bowler Taskin Ahmed from category 'A.'

The Dhaka Capitals have made significant additions to their squad for the upcoming season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), acquiring wicketkeeper-batter Litton Kumar Das and selecting Saim Ayub as their first choice among foreign players.

Additionally, Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Hasnain, Faheem Ashraf, and others were chosen in the player draft, strengthening the team's roster for the tournament.

Prior to the draft, the seven participating teams—comprising three new franchises and four established ones—had already organized their squads through retention and direct signings. With the completion of the draft, all teams have now finalized their lineups for the tournament.
