Gary Kirsten submits report to Naqvi on Pakistan's disappointing T20 World Cup campaign

Pakistan's white-ball coach, Gary Kirsten, has submitted a comprehensive report addressing the team's underwhelming performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024, co-hosted by the USA and West Indies.

Sources reveal that Kirsten forwarded the confidential report to Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi for evaluation. The report meticulously analyzes various facets contributing to Pakistan's disappointing campaign in the tournament.

Key areas highlighted include fitness levels, discipline issues, and game awareness among the players.

Upon receiving the report, PCB Chief Naqvi will review its findings thoroughly. He plans to discuss the contents with PCB officials and seek insights from former cricketers before outlining the next course of action.

It is worth noting that the Men in Green had a disappointing T20 World Cup campaign. They faced an upset defeat at the hands of co-hosts the USA, followed by a crucial loss against arch-rivals India.

Despite winning their last two matches against Canada and Ireland, it wasn't enough to advance to the next round, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.
