The chairman of PCB management committee Zaka Ashraf has arrived in India to participate in the upcoming ICC Executive Board meeting scheduled in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Accompanied by the chief operating officer Salman Nasser, Ashraf will also be present to witness the World Cup final on Sunday.
Among the agenda items, the ICC EB assembly aims to assess the World Cup's execution, revenue generation, spectator turnout, alongside deliberations on the future of the 50-over format and the potential hosting of the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan, as per PCB sources.
Ashraf had previously visited Ahmedabad to spectate the high-stakes Pakistan vs. India match on October 14, which resulted in India's victory by seven wickets.
Pakistan's inability to qualify for the World Cup semifinals prompted Babar Azam to step down from his captaincy role on Wednesday.
