Muhammad Huraira, the nephew of Pakistan veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik, has made history in his debut first-class season by scoring a triple-century in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy against Balochistan.

The Northern batter has continued his tremendous run as this is the third century for the Sialkot-born teenager. Aged at 19 years and 239 days, Huraira has become the second youngest cricketer in Pakistan's first-class history to reach the 300-run mark and the 8th overall player to achieve this feat.

In addition to that, Huraira is now the 20th Pakistani player to score a triple-century and has joined the list alongside other legendary batters namely Hanif Mohammad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Younis Khan, and  Azhar Ali.

Huraira remained unbeaten on 311* from 341 balls; his mammoth innings comprised of 40 boundaries and 4 maximums as he maintained a healthy strike rate of 91.20 as the Tea was called on Day 3 of the match.

Another noticeable performance for Northern came from Sarmad Bhatti who put on a huge partnership with Huraira as he scored 135 runs from 243 deliveries. Earlier in the match, the oppositions' top performer was Shan Masood who scored 190 to propel his team to 305 runs from their first innings.

Played alongside Haider Ali and Rohail Nazir for the Pakistan U-19 cricket team, Muhammad Huraira has now also announced himself on the global stage with this feat.

Huraira has now surpassed Ahsan Ali's highest score of 303* for the 2021/22 season, which he scored against Central Punjab while playing for Sindh.
