ICC announces 2025 Champions Trophy tour schedule

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour, in collaboration with DP World, officially began today in Islamabad, Pakistan. The prestigious silverware embarked on its journey across the eight participating nations, offering cricket fans unique opportunities to engage with the iconic trophy.

On the opening day, the trophy will be displayed at some of Islamabad’s most famous landmarks, including Daman-e-Koh, Faisal Mosque, and the Pakistan Monument. Pakistan cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar will accompany the trophy during its initial display, marking the beginning of an exciting international tour.

This event marks the launch of the global Trophy Tour, designed to provide fans worldwide with an immersive experience, featuring dynamic and colorful engagements that showcase the event’s revamped visual identity. Fans can expect a variety of interactive activities, both physical and digital, as the Trophy Tour travels to various iconic locations and sporting events.

Following its debut in Islamabad, the trophy will continue its journey across Pakistan, visiting cities like Karachi, Abbottabad, and Taxila. After completing its tour within Pakistan, the Champions Trophy will set off on an extensive international leg, spreading the excitement across the competing nations.

As part of the Trophy Tour, a special content series titled ‘Champion on Tour’ will be launched, offering a unique perspective on the journey through the lens of food, music, and cricket. This series will document the tour’s progress, highlighting the vibrant cultures and cricketing passions of the nations involved.

Anurag Dahiya, ICC Chief Commercial Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the Trophy Tour: “We are delighted to launch the Trophy Tour with DP World ahead of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, where another action-packed programme of activity is available to fans across the world.”

Dahiya also emphasized the significance of the event for cricket fans: “The silverware, which will be showcased across all participating nations, will allow the sport’s passionate fanbase to enjoy the unforgettable experience of being up close with the iconic trophy."
