International Cricket Council's official World Cup broadcaster, Star Sports, unveiled a promotional video, showcasing Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, as part of the prestigious 'Fab 5' on Friday.
This term, originally coined by the late New Zealand cricket legend Martin Crowe, refers to a group of renowned international batsmen who have consistently dominated the cricketing sphere.
The list also featured renowned batters including Virat Kohli from India, Kane Williamson from New Zealand, Steve Smith from Australia, and Joe Root from England.

The inclusion of Babar Azam in the Fab 5 not only underscores his stellar performances but also reflects his growing influence and impact on the game.
It is worth noting that Babar Azam currently holds the No. 1 position in the ICC men's rankings for batters in ODI cricket. The Pakistan captain has scored 5370 runs in 106 ODIs, including 19 tons and 28 fifties. He has an excellent average of 59.01 under his belt.
