In tandem, Naveen-ul-Haq, Rashid's compatriot, moved up two spots to 55th position in the rankings after his notable three-wicket haul against Ireland. Meanwhile, three Irish players, Josh Little, Mark Adair, and Barry McCarthy, saw improvements in their T20I bowler rankings. Adil Rashid of England retained his top position in the rankings.
Suryakumar Yadav from India continued to lead the T20I batter rankings with 861 rating points. Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan reentered the top 50 after his stellar performance of 90 runs against Ireland. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam from Pakistan held the third and fourth spots respectively in the T20 batting rankings.
However, Hazratullah Zazai's absence from Afghanistan's series against Ireland resulted in a drop of five places to 58th spot, allowing Iftikhar Ahmed to move up two spaces to 57th spot with 479 rating points. Fakhar Zaman also climbed two places to the 71st spot with 436 rating points.
