Karachi Kings won their match against Multan Sultans on Sunday by 66 runs, but it didn’t end without unsavory words being said on the field.
After Anwar Ali’s dismissal in the 16th over, when Ihsanullah was coming onto the crease to bat, Imad can be heard in the background instructing Akif Javed to not bowl a full length delivery to Ihsanullah and only bowl bouncers to him.
While passing these instructions, Imad used an abusive term for Ihsanullah.
"Don’t bowl full delivery to this ******, only bowl bouncers," said Imad.
Imad immediately placed a leg slip for Ihsanullah, who eventually survived the three balls from Akif and remained not out on zero as his side was bowled out for 101 runs in the next over.
The lanky Sultans’ pacer, who is the leading wicket taker in the tournament, has been a thorn in Karachi Kings’ side as he has bowled economical spells against them in last two games.

Last year, Imad was fined five per cent of his match fee for a Level 1 breach of the PSL Code of Conduct during his Karachi Kings’ one-run defeat against Islamabad United in the 21st match of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Imad was found to have violated Article 2.5 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a PSL Match”.
