Imam ul Haq posts cryptic tweet after being benched for fourth NZ ODI

Imam ul Haq has posted a cryptic tweet after being benched in the fourth and fifth ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand in the ongoing series.

The left-hand opener took to Twitter on Sunday morning, to share an interesting comment, which garnered a lot of attention from fans, who thought that the opener is disappointed after being dropped from two consecutive games.

“Life is an unexpected journey so never expect anything from anyone”. Be patient, Allah is watching," Imam wrote.

After the third ODI in the post-match press conference, Imam made headlines as he said that the Men in Green doesn’t have many matches left to experiment with their playing XI ahead of the 2023 World Cup. Hence, he shunned the idea of including power-hitters like Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Haris in the lower-middle order.

However, in the fourth ODI, Imam was himself dropped and Iftikhar and Haris got an opportunity to play in the same game.
