Australia win rain-hit first T20I against India

Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa starred as Australia beat India by four runs in a rain-hit T20I in Brisbane.

Chasing 174 in 17 overs, India managed to score 169 runs on loss of seven wickets. Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with brilliant 76 runs off 42 balls. He hit 10 boundaries and two sixes.

Adam Zampa bowled an economical four-over spell for the hosts. He claimed two wickets for 22 runs.

Earlier, Maxwell smashed four sixes in his 46-run knock while Stoinis scored 31 runs off just 18 balls to help Australia reach 153 on lose of three wickets in 16.1 overs.

The duo made a handy contribution of 78 runs off just 35 deliveries for the fourth wicket. Chirs Lynn played a crucial knock of 37 runs in the middle order.

Krunal Pandya had a tough outing with the ball as he gave away 55 runs in his four overs without picking up any wicket.

Kuldeep Yadav once again was impressive with the ball as he claimed two wickets for 24 runs in his spell.
