Former Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan, finds himself at the center of a heated debate within the cricket community following his exuberant celebration alongside Afghanistan's star spinner Rashid Khan after their historic victory over Pakistan at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on Monday.

After an exhilarating match that saw Afghanistan clinch win over the Men in Green for the first time in ODI cricket, Irfan, who is currently working as a broadcaster, decided to join Rashid on the cricket field for a spirited round of 'bhangra', much to the amazement of spectators and viewers around the world. 

Irfan took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express his admiration and appreciation for Rashid Khan's incredible performance in the match.

Meanwhile, cricket fans mocked the former all-rounder for what they saw as a display of empathy, and social media users emphasized that, as a broadcaster, he should have upheld a certain degree of professional impartiality.
