Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan has taken responsibility for his team's defeat against Lahore Qalandars in the 12th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.
Qalandars edged United by eight runs after emerging pacer Zaman Khan bowled a brilliant last over and conceded only three runs.
Nonetheless, the 23-year-old Shadab was the star of the day as he took 4/20 and smacked 32-ball 52 with the bat
But still, the all-rounder took the onus of the defeat and opined that his shot selection could have been better
"As captain of the team, I take responsibility for the defeat. On that pitch my shot choice at the end could have been better," Shadab tweeted.
Meanwhile, he hailed Qalandars' bowling attack and is upbeat that United will come back harder.
