Karachi Whites and Multan teams registered convincing victories during the ongoing National T20 Cup in Multan.

In the first match of the day, Karachi Whites defeated Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) by seven runs.

Karachi posted 130-7 in their allotted 20 overs,after FATA won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Khurram Manzoor top-scored with 79 runs for the Whites while FATA’s Mohammad Irfan Junior claimed four wickets for 33 runs.

Chasing a target of 131 runs, FATA were restricted to 123-6 — with Mukhtar Ahmed top-scoring with 52 runs.

In the second match of the day, Mutan overpowered Peshawar by five wickets.

Peshawar posted 132-6 while batting first, after Multan won the toss and elected to bowl first.

In response, Multan chased down the target in the 19th over of the innings.

Hasan Raza top-scored with 67 runs and remained unbeaten.
