Kohli set to break Miandad's 26-year-old record

Indian captain and star batsman Virat Kohli will have the opportunity to break Pakistan legendary cricketer Javed Miandad's 26-year-old record, in second One-Day International (ODI) against West Indies at Port of Spain on Sunday.

Kohli is, currently, the second-highest run-scorer against West Indies in ODI cricket and needs just 19 runs to reach the top spot. At the moment, Miandad holds the number one position with 1930 runs in 64 innings.

If Kohli goes past Miandad's tally in second ODI against West Indies, he will break the record in just 34 innings.

Pakistan's batting great Miandad played his final ODI against West Indies in 1993 and the milestone has stood for almost 26 years.
