Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik has hilariously trolled Ramiz Raja, after the famous commentator suggested him and Mohammad Hafeez to leave international cricket with respect and grace.
Earlier this week, Raja, while talking to media in a video conference, had claimed that the retirement of the aforementioned duo would help Pakistan cricket.
“They should leave international cricket with respect and grace. I come across both during my assignments that is why I avoid making personal comments. There is no doubt both have served Pakistan cricket well all these years. But now I think it is time they gracefully retired from the Pakistan team,” Raja said.

Malik took to Twitter to react to former cricketer’s advice, and said that along with him and Hafeez, Raja should also consider giving up his commentary career at the same time.
“Yes, Ramiz Bhai agreed. Since all three of us are at the end of our careers, let’s retire gracefully together – I’ll call and let’s plan this for 2022?” Malik tweeted.
Ramiz was not amused with Malik’s dig at him and decided to give it back to the all-rounder.
“Retire gracefully ,from what? Speaking my mind on Pak [Pakistan] cricket? Sticking my neck out for Pak cricket ? Wanting Pak cricket back at top ? No chance, won’t be gracefully retiring from that ever Malik Sahib!” Raja tweeted. “As for your [your] post retirement plans, it would be tough to start commentating in 2022 as that would make you my age. And talking of careers , don’t need a tutorial from you of all the people as history, which is a great teacher, would tell u that I retired while I was captain of Pak team.”
The veteran duo was brought back to the national fold in the T20 format in February by the current head coach-cum-chief selector Misbahul Haq. Hafeez has claimed that he intends on retiring from international cricket after the upcoming T20 World Cup whereas Malik has not revealed his plans for the future.
