The opening ceremony will be followed by the opening match of the HBL PSL 5 between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and two-time champions Islamabad United.

Besides the performers, a series of exciting acts including a grand fireworks display at the end will also be part of the opening ceremony. 

Thousands of fans in the stadium will be on the edge of their seats and millions around the globe will be glued to their television sets as world renowned artists like Abrarul Haq, Aima Baig, Abu Mohammad, Fareed Ayaz, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi and rock band Soch will embellish the ceremony with their breath-taking performances, while Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon and Asim Azhar will perform HBL PSL 2020’s anthem Tayyar Hain.

As many as 350 artists will perform in the opening ceremony which promises to be a memorable evening in Karachi.

The National Stadium in Karachi plays host to a star-studded ceremony with internationally renowned stars.

Keeping up the tradition of the last four seasons, the HBL PSL 5 is set for another grand opening ceremony.
