While Meg brings delight to the Australian side, Alyssa Healy who was named captain in the series against India, suffered a calf injury during the series and will be sidelined in the series against Pakistan which can be a setback for Australia.

Kim Garth and Phoebe Litchfield, two young talented batter have been retained in the squad, making it their maiden call up to the one day side. “The Indian series allowed us to blood some new talent and it’s pleasing to be able to retain Kim and Phoebe for this series.” Flegler added (Chief selector)
On the other hand, some big names such as Heather Graham, Amanda-Jade Wellington and Grace Harris will miss out the series. However, all remain in contention for selection of the T20I tour and the upcoming T20 World Cup hosted by South Africa.
