Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Rizwan has revealed that opening batter Fakhar Zaman is currently unwell.

Rizwan mentioned that Fakhar has been advised to play in the Champions T20 Cup despite his illness, with the understanding that if any health issues arise, doctors will closely monitor and care for him.

Speaking to the media in Durban, Mohammad Rizwan said that the selection committee had discussed Fakhar's situation, and a message has been sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management to ensure that Fakhar Zaman receives proper care.

Rizwan clarified that there are no personal issues involved, adding that it is well-known across Pakistan that Fakhar Zaman is a game-changer. He expressed hope that Fakhar will recover soon and rejoin the team.
