No input from Ramiz Raja in Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad: Wasim

Pakistan’s Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim says that former opener Ramiz Raja, who is set to become the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), had no input in the squad selected for this year’s T20 World Cup.

Speaking after announcing Pakistan’s squad for the home series against New Zealand and England, along with the mega event, Wasim brushed aside the notion that Raja had anything to do with the players selected.

“You can’t say that there was input [from Ramiz Raja] but we shared the squad with him as a courtesy at the end,” said Wasim.
