The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan cricket team following their resounding victory against England in the second Test in Multan.
Naqvi lauded the efforts of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, whose remarkable bowling performances were instrumental in securing the victory.
“Sajid Khan and Noman Ali bowled brilliantly and played a key role in the win,” Naqvi said.
Highlighting Kamran Ghulam's exceptional debut, Naqvi praised the young batter for showcasing his talent by scoring a century in his very first Test match.
“Kamran Ghulam demonstrated his immense abilities by scoring a century in his debut match,” he said.
Naqvi emphasized that the team’s success after a long stretch without a home Test win was a result of strong teamwork and collective effort.
“This victory in a home Test match after a long time is the result of great teamwork,” he noted.
He further acknowledged the team’s hard work, passion, and professional approach, which contributed to their well-deserved victory.
“The team played with dedication, passion, and a professional approach to secure this win,” he added.
Naqvi also appreciated the performance of the new players in the squad, who justified their selection through their excellent displays on the field.
“The new players proved their selection right with their performances,” he stated.
