Pakistan have announced their playing XI for their last Super 4 clash in the 2023 Asia Cup against defending champions Sri Lanka, scheduled for Thursday in Colombo.
The Men in Green have made five changes to the side, which lost to India by 228 runs on Monday.
Babar Azam has made a big call by dropping out-of-form, Fakhar Zaman, and has decided to give wicketkeeper-batter, Mohammad Haris, a go in the important clash.
Zaman Khan has come in for Naseem Shah, who has been ruled out of the tournament, whereas Mohammad Wasim Jnr has replaced Haris Rauf as he is still recovering after he felt discomfort in his right flank on the first day of the India clash.
Agha Salman has struggled to get going in the tournament and suffered a face injury that came against India. Hence, Saud Shakeel has replaced the all-rounder in the playing XI.
Given the spin-favorable surface in Colombo, as seen in the last match between India and Sri Lanka, Mohammad Nawaz has come in for Faheem Ashraf.
