Pakistan ODI squad departs from Johannesburg after series win

The players of Pakistan's ODI squad have departed from Johannesburg, South Africa, en route to Pakistan via Dubai.  

The group includes Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Sufiyan Muqeem, Tayyab Tahir, Usman Khan, Abrar Ahmed, Irfan Khan, and Mohammad Hasnain.  

Meanwhile, other players from the ODI squad have joined the Test squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa. Key players such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Naseem Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Kamran Ghulam, and Abdullah Shafique have transitioned from the ODI to the Test setup.  

The Pakistan Test squad is set to begin practice tomorrow in Centurion, where the first Test match is scheduled to start on December 26.  

It is noteworthy that Pakistan recently achieved a historic whitewash against South Africa in the three-match ODI series on their home soil.  

Young all-rounder Saim Ayub was the star performer, earning both the Player of the Match award in the third ODI and the Player of the Series title. He scored an impressive 235 runs and also took two wickets during the series, showcasing his all-round brilliance.
